retail jobs also require different
skill-sets for different jobs.
The IIJT Retail
Professional Course is a career
programme designed to prepare
graduates and undergraduates
to enter the field of retailing
with the goal of moving from
a customer service associate
into management-level positions.
The two areas
of personal development and
retail business knowledge are
stressed. The curriculum involves
classroom course work and practical
retail work experience. The
student involved in the latter
activity is sent on industrial
training in various retail outlets.
Upon completion of the prescribed
curriculum, the student is awarded
a certificate which is, more
specifically, industry recognized.

specifically on training those
skills required for leadership
and management in a customer
service oriented environment.
